Rules
This page explains the mechanic in plain language. For the binding legal terms, see the Public Offer.
Minimum bid
A new listing needs at least $5 to appear on the board at all. Topping up an existing listing has no separate minimum beyond a $1 increment.
Ranking
Listings sort strictly by total amount ever paid, descending. There is no time decay and no engagement weighting. Re-submitting the same URL adds to that listing’s existing total rather than creating a new entry.
Reclaiming #1
If your listing has ever held #1 and been outbid since, you can reclaim it for just the difference between your total and the current leader’s total, plus $1. A listing that has never held #1 must outbid the leader’s full total to take the spot.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable once a listing has been ranked on the board. Submitting a bid is treated as a final decision to enter the auction at that amount.
Prohibited content
- Scams, malware, or phishing destinations
- Adult or sexual content
- Chat/invite links used purely as an invite funnel rather than a real destination
- Link shorteners — submit the real destination URL
Ranking itself is unmoderated — money is the only ranking signal — but any listing can be flagged from its card, and flagged listings go to manual review. Confirmed violations get taken down regardless of rank or amount paid.
